Andurr app

An Android version of the Durr bracelet, a device by the Norwegian design firm Skrekkøgle which vibrates every 5 minutes to make its wearer aware of the passing of time. It investigates how our perception of time changes throughout our daily activities, and how this perception can be further altered through digital intervention and drawing awareness to this passage of time.

I loved the concept behind this project and its applications for self-awareness and productivity.

This Android clone adds a few options to increase usability, like custom intervals and the ability to align vibrations with the clock. This allows, for example, a vibration at the top of every hour, which is useful for productivity applications.

The app got a small number of organic downloads (200-300 if I recall) and a few positive reviews, which I am very happy with since I did no promotion!
