Eat My Sh*t – card game

Eat My Sh*t turns dinner time into a fast-paced dexterity card game where you compete against 3 friends to get food on your plate and avoid others’ germs for points!

Created in a team of 4 at USC Games. I worked on balancing the game and designing the manual. When we had the chance to get physical copies of the game manufactured, I laid out and proofed all assets before sending them off to print.

Game design

As players eat by drawing cards of different food groups from the serving plates, they exchange food for germs and the serving plates get contaminated. Each draw gets more and more risky as the game goes on, and players resort to stealing food cards and planting germ cards on other players by “barfing”.

Etiquette and chaos are both key parts of the game: one round players are obeying polite table manners, saying “please” and “thank you” as the rules require, and the next they’re stealing food and “barfing” on other players.

The hilarious contrast between gross mechanics and the required polite dining etiquette makes sure every player is laughing by the end!
