Ribbons music visualizer

A minimalist and colorful music visualizer I made in 2015 with native Oculus Rift support and light/dark themes.

The visualizer uses fluttering ribbons to represent different audio frequencies in the music. Wide ribbons represent lower frequencies and narrow ribbons represent higher frequencies. Beats that are detected trigger blue ripples far in the distance.

Night mode reveals a sky full of stars which pulse with the music, and trails echo the path of each ribbon.

With VR support enabled, you can look around and watch the ribbons pass by and the stars pulse all around, truly immersing yourself in your music.

This was the first VR experience I ever made. It ran on my Oculus DK2 in extended mode from my MacBook Pro. Yes, it made me nauseous. But it was still so exciting to work on!
